he Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) and the Ministry of Tertiary and Higher Education (MTHE) celebrated Education Week in Bo Town, Sierra Leone from January 22–26, 2024. The theme for the 2024 Education Week was "Learning for Lasting Peace". 

The celebration began with a march-past from Sewa Road to Bo Government Secondary School Compound. The week also included cultural events and performances. On January 24, 2024, the MBSSE and MTHE celebrated the annual Education Week on the Bo School campus
